What Practicing Intermediate & Advanced Asana Can Bring —Way Beyond the Shape
Our Take on More ChallenGing Postures
Exploring intermediate and advanced postures isn’t just about achieving the shape — it’s about the feeling of possibility and empowerment that comes practising them (whether you actually get into the pose fully or not).
Realising that your body can do something you didn’t think was possible.
So often, we tell ourselves things like, “I’ll never be able to do that,” or “I’m too old, too inflexible, not strong enough.”
But what if we try? What’s there to lose?
Even if you attempt a more challenging pose and don’t quite “get there,” just a tiny fraction of improvement can be really empowering and boost your confidence!
This is what we love creating space for. Those moments when you get a feeling that more is possible than you thought - not just on your mat but also in life.
Because it’s true.
We are all capable of so much more than we believe.
Titibhasana (Firefly Pose) is one of those empowering “hello-there-cool-body-you-rock” poses for me (Lisa here!).
What’s a pose that makes you feel empowered and inspired by what your body is capable of?
We’d love to hear!
We’re SO excited to be diving deeper into and sharing more about intermediate/advanced asana (alongside hands-on adjustments and creative sequencing) at our upcoming 50-hour Teacher Training & Immersion this upcoming April!
If you’re curious to deepen your practice, get tips and tricks and explore and play with your body (and mind!) - come join us!
For this training we’ll be surrounded by three hectares of olive groves and woodlands at the beautiful Olea, in the village Torre in Sabina, one hour north of Rome.
We couldn’t think of a better place to dive into this immersive yoga bubble!
If you have questions at all about our training let’s schedule a call!
P.S. While this is a training for yoga teachers, we’ve also opened a few spots for non-yoga teachers who want to join as a retreat experience. If that sounds like you, reach out and let’s chat more about it!
