HOW WE ALWAYS START OUR MORNINGS AT OUR YOGA RETREATS

One thing we practice at our yoga retreats is something called Silent Morning.

It's nothing hard and doesn’t have to be serious at all - it’s just not something most people are used to. It simply means that leading up to the first morning practice we as teachers and students don't speak or interact with each other (or the screen).

For some guests this first seems a bit strange and unusual, as it's the opposite of how most spend their morning.

Not speaking or interacting gives you an opportunity to take in the surroundings, the smells and sounds.

A chance to reflect and maybe even journal.

We often hear from our guests that this simple practice was something they really came to appreciate and are motivated to bring back home.
