3 INSPIRING BOOKS TO READ THIS FALL

As days get darker our energy automatically tends to draw more inwards. It’s easy to slip into the habit of turning on the TV or scroll through social media for hours as a way to “recharge”. How about reading a book instead?

Not only is it good to rest the eyes from screens but it can also inspire you, teach you something new and even empower you - depending on what you read of course.

We have the power to choose what to feed our minds with - just as much as our bellies!

Here are 3 books I’ve read recently and can highly recommend:

BREATH - By James Nestor

Such an eye-opening book about the power of breathing correctly! The author takes on the task to find out what went wrong in the way that we breathe these days and how to fix it! Not breathing properly can result in many common diseases that can we could quite easily prevent by learning how to breathe properly.

THINK LIKE A MONK - By Jay Shetty

I love everything that this guys puts out in the world, not just this book but also his podcast and daily inspiration on social media. Jay spent 3 years living as a monk , took what he learnt in the ashrams in India and now shares his knowledge and ancient wisdom in a light-hearted way with the west. This book was really hard to put down! Easy to read and very inspiring!

SENSITIVE IS THE NEW STRONG - By Anita Moorjani

If you’re someone who relates to being a sensitive person, finds this world quite overwhelming at times and think of yourself as an empath, this book is for you. Anita had a near-death-experience a couple of years ago and has made it her mission to spread what she learnt from spending a moment on the other side. She shares insights, tools and leaves you feeling like sensitive actually is a strength - not a weakness.

Let me know if you do read any of these books and what you think about them! Feel free to share any of your own book recommendations too, I love getting new ones!

Much love,

Lisa
